Cricket Clinics

Recently we had Ella come out from the Edinburgh Cricket Club to run some cricket clinics with all our students from grades prep-6 and a special all female clinic for our grade 5/6 students.

The students had a blast with Ella, playing a few cricket themed games as well as working on their skills, their teamwork and learning about leadership qualities. Ella had some very kind words about our school:

Firstly thank you to all the students and teachers at FNPS. It was a pleasure to spend the week getting to know everyone and also seeing familiar faces. What a friendly school, it was so lovely to continually be greeted by students in the corridor following our cricket lessons!

A highlight for me was our female clinic where I was joined by 40 yr 5/6 girls. We had an opportunity to discuss how important it is to have a space to play sport. This is my passion and it was great creating it for these girls for an hour. I strive to be a role model and someone who can inspire girls to pursue sport.

I want invite girls to join us at Edinburgh for the 24/25 season, I would love to see what you are all capable of after seeing what you can achieve in 1hour!

For all students interested in cricket, Edinburgh has teams for all age groups spanning from blast (4-8) through to u18’s and beyond.
