The productions were described as “wicked” and “really good” by students, who praised the portrayal of the characters, stating that they “understood the characters better” and that they “really liked the performances”. Additionally, the post-performance discussion sparked insightful questions and provided valuable learning opportunities with students stating that “there were some really great questions after [the plays] and [students] learned a lot”. Overall, the performance was well-received, with students thoroughly enjoying and appreciating the experience."

Term 1 Interschool Sports have kicked off with great results across all year levels – We have had Volleyball, Tennis and Baseball in weeks 4 and 5. Our Volleyball Teams were very competitive and with 18-22 teams from the Casey Division schools, the HPSC teams have succeeded with our Intermediate girls going through to Regionals. The Tennis Intermediate girls and Senior girls teams are also representing HPSC at Regionals.

The teamwork and sportsmanship from all of the HPSC competitors has been outstanding, even with 2 very hot weather days they have supported their team mates and had fun!

Tamanna Karimi, Intermediate Tennis - The day at tennis was super fun. We met new people, learned to play tennis as we played the matches and winning was a cherry on top.

Rugby try outs have been held in week 4 for the 2024 Synergise Schools Touch Championships. We have 8 teams across Junior and Senior representing HPSC on 20th and 25th March at Mentone Grammar Keysborough Playing Fields.

Term 2 sign ups went up this week on the pumphouse windows, these have now been removed and we have an influx of students for each sport. Try outs will commence in the next couple of weeks and teams will begin training – We have Soccer, Netball, AFL Football and Badminton.
