Boambee Public School Debating

Last week eight students from our debating team were given the opportunity to participate in a debating workshop at Woolgoolga Public School with 60 other students from across the region. The students were taught by a team of debating experts from Sydney and gained some essential skills and tactics.

We are blessed to have the amazing Ms Boyd giving her time and expertise to this team. The debating team has become very popular and competitive at Boambee Public School and we will invest in this group as part of our next strategic planning. Extra curricular opportunities like this will be enhanced via our strategic investments into the future.

The quality of public education was on display today, with 70 students displaying exemplary knowledge, application and behaviour. Thank you to Mr David King and his team at Woolgoolga Public School for hosting the day.
