Victorian Fisheries Little Angler Fishing kits initiative

In December last Year the Victorian Fisheries Authority together with the State Government issued a 'Little Angler' fishing kit to all Year 5 students throughout the Victorian public school system. 

This was introduced with the idea that - "We want more kids to catch a new hobby - fishing - because it’s a healthy and active pastime that gets them into the great outdoors and experiencing nature with friends and family."

One of our students, Zac, did exactly that! He took to Lilydale Lake in the holidays and take a look at his catch! One proud moment for Zac that's for certain...

Our Christmas Raffle winner was...

Archie! First prize was an incredibly large, made entirely of chocolate Santa donated by the very generous Thomas family and The Ministry of Chocolate.
