Welcome Back to School – A Message from the Parents’ and Friends’ Committee

Dear Parents/Carers, Students, and Friends of St Patrick’s College,

Welcome back to school! We hope that each and every one of you had a rejuvenating break, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. As we embark on a new academic year, the Parents’ and Friends’ Committee extends its heartfelt greetings and good wishes to everyone in our wonderful school community.

Firstly, we want to express our deepest gratitude to all the parents/carers who contributed to making the past year, 2023, a resounding success. Your support, involvement, and dedication to our school have made a significant impact, and we are truly thankful for your partnership.

We understand that getting back into the swing of things after a break can be challenging, but we are confident that 2024 is going to be a fabulous year filled with exciting opportunities for growth and learning. Our committee is committed to ensuring a supportive and enriching environment for our children.

This morning marked a special occasion as we warmly welcomed the new parents/carers and students of Year 5. A delightful morning tea was organised to provide an opportunity for new parents/carers to connect with one another and begin forming lasting friendships within our school community. We believe that a strong sense of community enhances the overall educational experience for our children.

On a note of appreciation, we recently hosted a Staff Appreciation Lunch to recognise the hard work and dedication of our fantastic teachers. Il Buco restaurant, graciously catered by Monique and Joe Ghosn, provided a delicious spread that left everyone satisfied. A big thank you also goes out to Caroline Chahin, Lina Bartorilla, Kathy Jeitani, Nicola Chatfield, Marion Parnaby, Angela Shehadie and Gabriella Costa for their invaluable assistance in setting up and serving lunch.

We are thrilled to announce the Class Representatives for 2024, who will be leading the social functions for their respective year groups. Their dedication and enthusiasm will undoubtedly contribute to fostering a sense of camaraderie and community spirit. Our heartfelt thanks to:
