Nicole says ‘Hi!’

I must admit it felt strange when Paul asked me to write an introductory message about myself. After groaning like a student being asked to do work on a day, Paul looked me in the eye and explained that despite what I may think, not everyone knows who I am and that I was to start writing.

I have been at the school since 2003 and for many FPS families, I am a familiar figure. Over the course of my teaching career, I have taught across the different year levels, with the exception of Foundation. I was a Literacy Learning Specialist, Leading Teacher and Acting Assistant Principal. 

This year will be quite different for me as for the first time I will not have my own class. Instead, I will be working closely with our Learning Specialists as we prepare for the roll out of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and I will be involved with Disability Inclusion alongside our Wellbeing Leading Teachers.
