Cricket Season Launch

Date: Thursday, 25 January 2024 | 3:30pm

Venue: McMahon Oval

Information: The College Community is invited to the 2024 Cricket Season Launch. The 1st XI will play some of Ashgrove’s finest Old Boy Cricketers for 15 overs each. The Grandstand Canteen and bar will be open for parents. Please come and support what is sure to be a great afternoon.

Inaugural Mass, Investiture and Academic Awards

Date: Tuesday, 30 January 2024 | 11:00am for an 11:30am Mass

Venue: Great Hall – Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre

Information: The College Community is invited to the 2024 Inaugural Mass, Investiture and Academic Awards to mark the commencement of the new academic year. In gathering, we will ask for God’s blessings upon the Marist College Ashgrove Family, commission our 2024 student leaders and acknowledge our 2023 Academic Achievement Award recipients.

Year 5 Parent Welcome and Information Evening

Date: Wednesday 31 January 2024 | 6:00pm

Venue: Year 5 Classrooms and Science Centre Foyer

Information: Year 5 Parents are invited to attend an information session to be held in the Year 5 classrooms as a chance for you to meet your son’s teacher and learn more about his classroom for the year ahead. At the conclusion of the Year 5 meetings, all parents are invited to the Science Centre Foyer where the P&F will host Year 5 parents for a Welcome to Marist function. This is a wonderful way for our newest parents at the College to meet other members of their cohort.
