Principal's Message

Welcome Back to 2024! 

We are excited to be back within our beautiful surroundings with laughter and happiness filling our school once again. We have welcomed a number of students to our school this year including our very excited Foundation students. We are blessed to have 15 Foundation students! Last week was their very first week here at Our Lady's. These students had a tremendous week learning each day.

We have also been lucky enough to welcome some new students into other various grade levels. A special welcome to;

• Aanchal (Grade 2)
• Beau (Grade 3)
• Carl (Grade 4)
• Nathan (Grade 6)

On Monday the 12th and Wednesday the 14th of February, we will be holding Parent/Teacher Interviews. The purpose of this meeting is to meet your child's 2024 classroom teacher and discuss anything you think they might need to know about your child. These are offered to all parents and we encourage everyone to book an appointment. These are 10 minute interviews and will run from 3.30pm - 5.30pm.

3. Select the appointment time that suits your family best.

Update your details if the email address is incorrect. The email will arrive from bookings@schoolintervie.ws

Beginning of Year Mass

On Tuesday the 13th of February, we will be coming together to celebrate our Beginning of Year Mass. We will then come back to school and enjoy some delicious pancakes for Shrove Tuesday. During our Beginning of Year Mass we acknowledge our Grade 6 leaders including our House Captains. We also welcome our Foundation students to our school. This is a momentous occasion so please join us. Mass will commence at 12pm at Our Lady's Church.

Shrove Tuesday

As mentioned above, next Tuesday is Shrove Tuesday.  Students will be able to enjoy pancakes after our Mass.  This is a fundraising initiative to raise money for Caritas Australia.  Students are asked to bring along a gold coin donation on the day.

Parent Platforms

As some of you may be aware we are no longer using our school app School Stream.

All parents have been sent invitations to join our new platform Class DoJo.  This has been sent to your email address.  If you have not been able to join this platform please contact us and we can assist you to get set up.

Later in the year we will also be setting up Simon Everywhere which will be an interactive parent module.  More information will come out on this later.
