2024 Sport

Secondary students have commenced weekly Wednesday sport with primary students commencing once their swim school program has finished. We are grateful once again to our external sport providers including Orange Ten Pen Bowling, Central West Gymsports, Orange Aquatic Centre and Orange City Bowling Club for opening up their facilities to provide our students with a range of sporting options. 

We have been fortunate in receiving Sporting Schools grants for both our secondary and primary students which allows for the cost of some sports to be covered. We will continue to submit grant applications each term to allow us to help with sport costs. 

We have a full-on sporting program for Term 1 which commences next Wednesday 21st February with the annual swimming carnival at the Orange Aquatic Centre. Families are welcome to come along on this day to cheer and support students. 

Students will also be attending the athletics come and try day, run by the School Sports Unit, in Dubbo on Monday 4th March in preparation for the athletics carnival in Term 2. More information will come out to students who have expressed interest shortly.
