HOLT SWIMMING CARNIVAL

Congratulations to our amazing St Columba’s Swim Team who received 2nd place at the Holt District Carnival for the Percentage shield on Friday 16th February. The team all worked hard to do their absolute best and represent our school with pride. 

Thank you to all our wonderful parent supporters. A big thank you to Suzanna (Isabella’s Mum) and Michelle (Charli’s Mum) who helped time races.

Congratulations and good luck to Anna D who will be progressing to the Beachside District Carnival for 9/10 Year Old Girls Backstoke. 

Congratulations to Chloe F for winning the Holt Tennis Championships. An incredible effort! 

Chloe will be moving onto the Beachside Tennis Championships to represent the Holt district.

St Columba’s Sports Day

Our Prep - Year 6 Sports Day is on Thursday 21st March. 

The events will run from 9.45 am – 1.30 pm at Sandringham Athletic Track. 

The students will participate in a variety of Athletic events to earn points for their House: Phillip (Blue), Ormond (Red) or Elster (Yellow). 

The Year 6 leaders will be having team practices leading up to the day where they will lead their teams in chants and cheering. 

During PE lessons we will be practising field events and sprints in preparation for the day.

We need parent helpers on the day for various jobs so if you can help during the day, please let Sharelle know – sbraithwaite@scelwood.catholic.edu.au.
