Avid Readers Celebration

This term we took the opportunity to honour the commitment and achievements of our students in independent reading. One Top Class Reader from every Year 7-10 English/EAL class received a certificate at their Year Level Celebration Assembly, a recognition of their dedication to the world of books.

Additionally, the Top 20 Avid Readers across Years 7-10 were invited to a special Principals’ Avid Readers Luncheon. We take immense pride in our students' achievements in fostering a love for reading and are committed to continuing this journey at Lyndale Secondary College. Through reading, we are preparing well-rounded individuals for the challenges of today and the opportunities of tomorrow, one page at a time.

Tutor Learning Excellence Morning Tea Celebration

This term, a morning tea event took place to celebrate the Literacy and Numeracy tutor students who demonstrated hard work and a positive attitude towards their learning. These students have made the most of this opportunity and have made impressive progress towards their learning goals. "Successful people are not gifted, they just work hard, and then succeed on purpose." We would like to thank the Tutoring team (Dylan, Iffat, Asma, Sandra, Amelie, Reuben, Chetan, Sandrup, Priyanka, Pong, and Xiao) for their dedication and their commitment to student learning.
