Balancing Screen Time and Unplugged Play: Supporting Healthy Habits
At Modbury School P-6, we understand that technology is an important part of learning and daily life. However, maintaining a healthy balance between screen time and screen-free (unplugged) play is essential for our children’s wellbeing. We encourage families to support children by setting clear boundaries for device use, engaging in screen-free activities, and prioritising outdoor play, reading, and creative pursuits. Taking regular breaks from screens helps children rest their eyes, stay active, and build social skills.
Please refer to the eSafety Commisioner website for further information on how to balance your child's screen time and break screen addiction.
