2025 HSC Results and High Achievers Symposium

The 2025 HSC results were celebrated at the High Achievers Assembly and Symposium on Thursday 5 February. This assembly was an opportunity to congratulate students and celebrate a number of remarkable achievements:

  • Our College Dux with an ATAR above 99

  • 4 students on the HSC all-rounder list (Band 6 in 10 units or all subjects)

  • 12 students with ATARS above 95

  • 34 students with ATARs over 90

  • 113 mentions on the Distinguished Achievers List with 51 students achieving the top band in their course (a mark of 90 and above)

  • 3 nominations for Shape in Industrial Technology

  • 4 nominations for OnStage, one for the Individual Drama Performance and three for the Group performance

  • 2 nominations for the Young Writer’s Showcase in English Extension 2, of which one major work was selected and both entries achieved a state ranking (5th and 7th in NSW)

These are amazing achievements across a wide variety of subjects and disciplines, highlighting that success at St Pius X College comes in many forms.

The most pleasing results from our staff HSC analysis revealed that 90% of subjects performed above state average with 50% of subjects performing at least 5% better than the average in NSW schools.

Additionally, St Pius X College’s average ATAR continues to rise, increasing to an average of 80 in 2025. This has increased substantially in the last five years meaning that many students are achieving their post school pathway goals.

The 2025 cohort are to be truly congratulated on their remarkable performance.
