Wellbeing

Purpose    I    Positive Emotions    I   Relationships   I   Meaning    I    Accomplishment

As part of Hampton's whole school Wellbeing curriculum, the children will be introduced to our school norms Collaboration, Aspiration, Integrity and Resilience.

Initially, this the term, we will focus on classroom expectations, such as, behaviour, lining up, cleaning our learning spaces, keeping stationary caddies clean and protocols for the bag area. Five Star Listening will be modeled and expected at all times and moving around the room quickly, quietly and carefully will be discussed.

We will look at Emotional Literacy and Personal Strengths. Students will be involved in activities to promote and identify their strengths and be able to express and identify different feelings and emotions and how to solve problems. We will delve deep into positive psychology and strengths-based approaches and tasks from the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships Program.
