Victorian Japanese Pencil Calligraphy Competition
In September, during our Japanese lessons, our Year 1 to Year 6 students took part in the annual Victorian Japanese Pencil Calligraphy Competition. It was great to see students showing our school values, especially ambition and courage, as they created their best work. They focused, followed each step carefully, challenged themselves and kept going when it felt tricky.
From all the wonderful, completed pieces, a selection was chosen to represent BHNPS in the competition. Congratulations to every student whose work was chosen. You should feel very proud of your efforts.
We would like to give a special congratulations to the students who placed in the top three in the state. This is a fantastic achievement, and we are very proud of you.
