Year 1 Bee-Bot Adventures

Year 1 have been busy developing their computing and problem-solving skills using Bee-Bots and grid mats. The students learnt how to give clear instructions by programming the Bee-Bots to move forwards, backwards and turn in different directions.

Working on grids helped the children understand positional language such as forwards, backwards, left and right, while also encouraging careful planning before pressing the buttons. 

There was lots of teamwork, discussion and excitement as students tested their programs and fixed any mistakes.
