Free Parent Seminar: Building Emotional Resilience in Children & Teens

Free child-minding service available for school-aged Emmaus children.

 

Join us for an insightful seminar where you’ll learn practical strategies to support your children during challenging moments. Discover how to respond in ways that foster calm and connection and build emotional resilience.

 

Key Topics:

  • Effective strategies for calming overwhelmed children
  • Techniques to strengthen self-control and emotional regulation

About the Speaker: Karen, a renowned psychologist and author of ‘Hey Warrior’ and ‘Hey Awesome’, will lead the session. She’s an expert in child and adolescent anxiety and the creator of HeySigmund.com, an internationally acclaimed resource.

Fathers' Day Breakfast 

We are honoured to invite you and your children to celebrate Father’s Day together with our community at the annual Father's Day Breakfasts at both Campuses: 

Brooklyn Park Campus (ELC to Year 6)

Thursday 29 August, 7.30am - 8:30am

South Plympton Campus (Foundation to Year 12)

Friday 30 August, 7:30am - 8:30am


Spring Instrumental Evening

Thursday 5 September

Students need to arrive at 6:40pm for a 7pm start

Emmaus Performing Arts Centre (EPAC)

 

All students who learn an instrument (at the college or privately) are invited to nominate themselves to perform.

 

Students must wear formal winter uniforms. If your child is unsure about performing please speak to their Instrumental Tutor or Music Teacher for guidance. 

 

Places are limited and fill up fast! We look forward to seeing your child perform on stage.

Emmaus Early Explorers

If you have children aged three and under, we warmly invite you and your little ones to our second session of Emmaus Early Explorers on Monday 9 September. 

 

This will be a fantastic chance to make new friends, share experiences over a cuppa, and learn together while your children play in a safe and welcoming environment.

 

Lauren Hughes, Director of the Early Learning Centre, and Joel Overweel, Emmaus Christian College Chaplain, will be present to facilitate these sessions.
