From the Director of Senior School (Teaching and Learning) Ms Shannon Armitage

YEAR 12 SEMESTER 2 EXAMS

The Year 12 Semester 2 Examinations (ATAR) are held from Monday 16 September to Friday 20 September (Week 10) and during the second week of the holidays, Monday 30 September to Friday 4 October.

Examination timetable information is now available on MyASC to all Year 12 students (and Year 11 Students taking Year 12 courses). Click here to view the examination timetable.

Please could any communication relating to the Year 12 examinations be emailed to Mr Shackleton.

YEAR 12 ATAR EXAM TIMETABLE

The Year 12 2024 ATAR course examination timetables are available on SCSA website and can be accessed here.

Personalised examination timetables are available through the SCSA Student portal. Students should take careful note, as some smaller subject exams are at exam centres other than All Saints’ College.

YEAR 11 SEMESTER 2 EXAMS

The Year 11 Semester 2 Examinations (ATAR) are held from Monday 4 November (Term 4, Week 5) to Friday 15 November (Term 4, Week 6). All students participating in these exams are expected to be available throughout the entire period. The examination timetable will be released to students and families on MyASC before the end of Term 3.

NAPLAN AND OLNA

Copies of the Individual Student Report (ISR) have been posted to families.

During Week 7 parents were contacted to inform you if your child is to complete OLNA testing. The first opportunity for current Year 9 students to attempt the OLNA will be in Term 4. The date will be confirmed in due course.

The abolition of the previous banding system has caused some confusion. Prequalification is no longer a specific achievement band of NAPLAN, but rather a point mid-way in the “strong” achievement band. SCSA has provided explanatory information accessible via this link.

Please note that the College is unable to provide families with a student’s individual numerical score.

TEACHING AND LEARNING POLICIES

All College policies and procedures, including the current Senior School Assessment Policies, can be found here on MyASC.
