Year 1 Sapphires

Year 1 Sapphires have been working hard and have been very focused on their learning. They have been looking at persuasive texts and opinion writing and have learnt about some techniques that could be useful when persuading someone to agree with their personal opinion. Year 1 have also been completing number investigations in mathematics, as well as transforming into human coders and coding mice, to focus on giving and following directions. They have been working with Year 2 Emeralds to learn the steps to the Heel and Toe Polka, as well as another bush dance called, Strip the Willow. Mrs Cotter has been very impressed with how quickly they have learnt the moves to both dances. Hopefully, in the coming weeks our students can perform the dances to an audience.
