Gene Technology Access Centre (GTAC)  Excursion

On Monday, a small number of Grade 4-6 students participated in the  GTAC design Expo at their laboratories located at University High School.

GTAC Design Expo Tacking is a program designed for the Victorian Challenge Enrichment Series. The program looked at tackling the pollination problem and was developed to activate student agency through participation in the design thinking process as students explore the driving question: How can we support bees to pollinate flowers?

The excursion was a follow up from the GTAC incursion which was held at school on the 10th of May.
