NEWS AROUND THE SCHOOL

CHOIR EXCURSION

On Monday 6th May the school choir went off on their first excursion! We met after recess for a vocal warm up and then off we went walking to Livingston Kinder. It was a beautiful sunny day and the choir were in high spirits.

When we got to Livingston we set up outside in the play area and performed three songs: “Lucky” by Crash Adams, “Don’t Stop” by Fleetwood Mac, and finally, “Snap” by Rosa Linn.

To finish, we invited the kinder kids up to sing and dance in “The Hokey Pokey” which was lots of fun. The choir loved singing and performing and will plan for our next one soon.

Please take a look at some pictures of the performance.

Mothers Day

Thank you to the crafty people in our school community who donated handmade gifts for the Mothers Day Stall, they were such a hit and greatly appreciated.

Chloe McDougall, who donated a variety of propagated plants,

Bec Cusak and her mum, who made beautiful glazed pottery with scented soy candles and eye pillows made with home grown lavender.

Natasha Kalweit, who got crafty with chocolates and seed bombs.

Maia Crouch, who made lovely tea light candles with dried flowers.

Jen Bray, potted plants.

Nat Kallitsas, lolly jars.

Thanks to Jen and all our volunteers for making it yet another special day! We raised over $750 for the school, but more importantly, the kids had a blast - well done all!
