Story Dogs

We are so fortunate to have Lynn (Story Dog handler) and Chacha (beautiful Golden Retriever) from Story Dogs visit our school this term to read with students from Year 2. 

Lynn is a volunteer who is trained to help emergent readers. She will sit and listen to the children read in a non-judgmental and comfortable environment within the school. 

Last week, Chacha visited the students in grades 2/3, 3 and 4/5 for an orientation of the school buildings, sounds and smells, and accepted lots of children's pats.
