The Kantor Family Music and Performing Arts Centre is buzzing with musical activity at the moment including Eisteddfod preparation, production rehearsals, choir and examination rehearsals and the list goes on. 

Last week, College hosted the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, a period ensemble based in Sydney. The orchestra performed a fabulous concert for visitors and students last Thursday night. On Friday morning, several students from the Junior School were involved in a specific workshop where the orchestra performed for the children, followed by an in-depth question and-answer session. Later, the same day, our VCE music students were involved in a productive discussion around performance conventions, including leadership, self-organisation and teamwork. This session concluded with a few individual performances by our students, with feedback given by members of the orchestra.   

The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra has visited the College a number of times, and we aim to keep this wonderful relationship going.
