Bathurst District Cross Country Carnival
The District Carnival will be held on Wednesday 28th May, 2025 at Sulman Park, Mt Panorama. The children who have qualified to attend this carnival are;
Charlotte Seager, Natalia Heiner, Jemimah Lyle, Asha Melo, James Hollier, Patrick Muldoon, Lucas Hurford, Tate Shaw, Zara Tallentire, Jordyn Gleeson, Sethina Addo, Adelaide Redman, Will Skein, Lawson Glasgow, Kaelan Wheeler, Charlie Honeysett,
Lilly Guihot, Sophie McPhee, Addison Jones, Ava Bartholomew, Jax Brennan, Blake Hunt, Alex Bateman, Nicholas Pearson, Heidi Lyle, Charlotte Morris, Billie Lindsay, Katie Kicovic,
Harvey Glasgow, Cruz Fischbeck, Christian Mena Taylor, and Archer Kolkman.
District and Western Sport Trials
In 2025, Mrs Francis will coordinate all district and western trial information for PSSA Sporting teams.
Some trials at a school level will be held prior to the district trials. This depends on the sport and popularity of trials at the district level.
When trialling for district and western teams, notes will go home with students from school and will need to be returned to school to Mrs Francis before the due date.
Students cannot attend trials without this note being approved by the school and students names entered into trials by the school.
Students can find out about upcoming school, district and western trials by listening to Sentral announcements in class, and parents can find out about trials by keeping up to date through the School Newsletter.
Netball: Boys interested in trialling for the Boys Western Plains Netball Team (combined private/public team can collect notes from Mrs Francis. Trials will be held in Orange on 21st May.
School Sporting Teams and scheduled Training
Attention Stage 3 Children!
If you are turning 11 or 12 this year and would like to trial for the Bathurst Public School Rugby League team, please write your name on the list outside the staffroom stairs or see Mrs Goninan.
This is just to take your names and the positions you would like to trial for.
Rugby League Trials will take place on Wednesday 21st May during Break 1.
School Soccer Team
Training will be held Break 1 Tuesday 20th May with Mrs McPhee and Miss Barber.
Girls Basketball
Training will be held Break 2 on Wednesday 21st May with Mrs Francis
Boys Basketball
Training will be held Break 2 on Wednesday 21st May with Mr Datt
Cricket Team
Training will be held Break 2 Friday 16th May and Break 2 Tuesday 20th May with Mr Thackray. The team play their next game in Orange on Thursday, 22nd May. We wish them the best of luck!
