Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back! We hope you had a restful and enjoyable break and are ready for an exciting Term 2.  As we return to classrooms and routines, we’re looking forward to a term full of learning, growth, and community spirit.

This term promises to be busy, with a number of key events on the horizon, including the Mother's Day stall, the Mother's Day Picnic, Open Day, Cross Country, and school reports at the end of the term. We encourage families to stay connected through our regular communications and updated calendar to keep track of all important dates.

Teachers have been hard at work planning engaging lessons and activities that will continue to support student development across academic, social, spiritual, and emotional areas. We’re also pleased to welcome Kirrily Jones back from maternity leave, next week.

As always, your support plays a vital role in the success of our school community. We thank you for your continued involvement and partnership.

Let’s make Term 2 a great one together!

Prayer for Pope Francis

Lord God, in your great mercy, you gave your Church- Pope Francis as our shepherd and the Vicar of Christ Jesus, your Son. We thank you for the gift of his papacy and his leadership. In his actions of humility, simplicity and humanity, he tirelessly showed the Church what it is to be a missionary of your mercy and love, and to all, how to promote justice and peace, care for the earth, and right stewardship of your gifts and of all creation. As you have called him now to yourself, we entrust him to your Divine mercy. Let him rest eternally with you in your Kingdom. Through Christ, our Lord, whom he fully trusts and lovingly served. Amen.

ANZAC DAY SERVICES

Thank you to all who were able to join us last Friday at the ANZAC Day services to remember those men, women and their families who served in past wars or who are currently serving in the forces to protect our country. Special thanks to our school leaders: Alec Corso & Isabelle Hourigan who laid the wreath at Friday's service and Madeline Skoknic and Michael Roache who represented our school at the service yesterday at Cobram Regional Care.
