Qustodio

We would like to remind you of our Cyber Safety Parent App- Qustodio. We invite you to create your parent account and claim your child’s account as you partner with us in further building healthy digital habits and a safe online environment for your child. These tools will provide you with insights and visibility to help you better understand how your child is engaging with their personal device at home. You will also be able to:

  • Schedule your child’s screen-free times
  • Create custom routines (e.g. study, sleep & play)
  • Apply custom web filtering rules
  • Apply app and game time & access limits
  • Supervise your child’s online activity
  • Pause the Internet
  • Access expert advice via our School Online Safety Hub

How to create your Qustodio Account: Please use the custom link below to create your family Qustodio parent account:

To commence the Qustodio account creation process - one parent/guardian must create the initial account, and then additional parents/guardians can be invited and given access to your Qustodio account in order to share visibility over your child’s device at home.

As a reminder, our school’s offer allows you to protect one personal device (phones, shared iPads, etc) per child attending St Patricks free of charge.

Managing YouTube with Qustodio

Former police officer Yasmin London has written an article on YouTube, describing that while its benefits are notable, particularly in an educational context, the endless stream of videos poses a challenge for parents who want to protect their children from inappropriate content and manage their screen time.

Click here for an article on how to manage these YouTube risks by setting clear guidelines, fostering open communication, and using Qustodio.
