Community Spirit

Term 2 House Spirit Community Update

This term’s focus for Ballarat High School’s House groups is ‘community’. Many people in our local community are in need of meals and personal hygiene products, which is why our student leadership team has once again elected to hold a “You CAN make a Difference’ drive to gather donations for the Ballarat Soup Bus.

We ask that non-perishable, undamaged food items and hygiene products please be dropped off at the various collection points around the school. Each item donated by students will earn them points for their house and the house with the greatest amount of items accumulated will be victors of the ‘You CAN Make a Difference' drive. Every item will then be donated directly to the Ballarat Soup Bus, which provides hot meals every night to the homeless and less fortunate members of our community.

Please have your donations in by the end of week 5 of this term (23rd May). We look forward to you supporting your house and your community through your generous donations.
