Text Based Unit

This term the students have been learning about character descriptions and adjectives through a text based unit. The students analysed the story, “The Imagineer,” which follows the story of Penny who creates her own invention. At the end of the unit, the Grade One and Two students developed and created their own invention - something that would make life easier. The students had heaps of fun sketching and building their inventions together in their groups.

Grade 1 Outdoor Education Program

Yesterday, the Grade One students participated in the Outdoor Education Program. It was great to see all the students having a fantastic time together, enjoying the activities and eating a yummy sausage!
