Student Representative Council (SRC)

At the conclusion of Term 1, the SRC members ran a series of events to get students into the excitement of Easter!

Tuesday: Easter Egg Decorating Competition

First off on the agenda was the Easter Egg Decorating Competition.

Students from Prep to Grade 6 came in during lunch and designed their own Easter Egg. Eggs were colourful, wonderful and designed with care. Congratulations to the 3 winners from the Junior School, Middle School, and Senior School!

Wednesday: Easter Races at Lunch

Next up, Wednesday at lunch, were a terrific series of races and challenges for students to compete in, inspired by (Easter) bunnies.

Three-legged races, "egg"-and-spoon races, teamwork challenges - everyone who joined, had an egg-cellent time!

Thursday: Easter Egg Hunt!

On the last day of term, the SRC finished off the busy week with two Easter Egg Hunts.

The Junior School Egg Hunt was a success, but unfortunately for the Middle and Senior school, the sun decided to come out... and the eggs began to melt!

The Easter Bunny was prepared, however, and had some extra eggs tucked away, meaning no one went home without!

The SRC looks forward to bringing more events to the Weeden Heights Community throughout Term 2!
