Foundation (Prep) 2025

School tours for parents who have a child commencing in Foundation (Prep) in 2025 are in demand, and based on the response so far for bookings, interest in enrolment at EHPS continues to be high.  

In accordance with the new Department of Education Foundation (Prep) enrolment process and timeline for 2025, applications open on Monday 15 April 2024 (first day of Term 2) and are due by Friday 26 July 2024. We are excited to announce that applications for Foundation (Prep) enrolment in 2025 at EHPS are to be lodged digitally on the VicStudents portal. This new platform for enrolment is being rolled out in Victorian government schools, commencing for EHPS with next year's Foundation (Prep) enrolments. 

Children born on or before 30 April 2020 are eligible to commence primary school in Foundation (Prep) in 2025. If you have a child starting primary school next year, please read the details of the timeline, process and new digital enrolment application information:

If you have family or friends with a child eligible for Foundation (Prep) in 2025, please encourage them to phone our School Office to book a tour or collect an information pack including the enrolment application details.

Placement in Foundation (Prep) 2025 will be confirmed between 29 July and 9 August 2024. 

An online Parent Information Evening for anyone with a child starting primary school next year who is interested in enrolling at EHPS is invited to join us on 29 April 2024 from 7pm to 8pm. The online platform and the link to participate will be published on the school website closer to the date.  

Following confirmation that placement is offered at EHPS, enrolled children are invited to participate in:

• Story Time (choose one of two sessions) in August (optional; booking required)  
• Glitter & Glue Art Session in September (optional; booking required)  
• Music Sing-a-long in September (optional; booking required)
• Transition 1 
• Transition 2
• Transition 3
• Orientation Day 

Parents/guardians of children enrolled to commence in Foundation (Prep) in 2025 will have an Information Evening on Tuesday 12 November.
