LITURGY NEWS

Welcome back Fr Chris! Fr Chris has now returned from a visit with family and friends in Nigeria. We thank Fr John for his spiritual guidance and time with us in Fr Chris' absence.

Next Wednesday some of our Year 4 students will have the opportunity to attend Reconciliation and Year 2 will have a visit from one of our parish priests.

Family Masses

Our next family mass will be held on Sunday 7th April (Yr 1 and Yr 5) at St Nicholas Church at 9.30a.m. 

These Masses are an opportunity for our School community to come together with our Parish Community to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word and to share a ‘cuppa ‘and morning tea afterwards. 

Stations of the Cross Liturgy 

A whole school Stations of the Cross Liturgy will be held on next Thursday 28th March beginning 9.30am in the school Undercroft. The school will gather together to walk in Jesus’ footsteps. Staff and students will engage in prayer, singing and reflection to focus on the events of Jesus’ last hours of life on earth. Parents and carers are more than welcome to join us for this Liturgy.

Project Compassion Boxes

Some students have been asking me what to do with their Project Compassion Boxes when they are filled. These can either be given to Mrs Dunst here at school or alternately taken to St Nicholas Church and handed in at one of the masses scheduled for Holy Week.

ST NICHOLAS PARISH MEN'S BREAKFAST

All men of our school community are invited to attend a parish men's breakfast. 

Saturday 23rd March at 7am - 8am.

ALTAR SERVER TRAINING

Altar Server training is on this afternoon Thursday 21st March at St Nicholas Church 4pm-5pm. Notes have gone home with students who have expressed an interest.

GREEN DAY 

Our annual ‘Green Day’ will be held on Friday 22nd March. This will be a day where children wear ‘green mufti clothes’ and bring along a gold coin donation which will be put towards our fundraising efforts for CARITAS Australia.
