POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR FOR LEARNING
T1 2024
Last year and ongoing this year we have reviewed our values and added our High Behaviour Expectations of, ‘We are Respectful, We are Inclusive, We are Learners.’
All staff are continuing to teach and reinforce what this looks like, sounds like and means linking with our school values.
Part of this teaching includes identifying an area for growth, teaching our explicit expectations and acknowledging when students display these behaviours by reinforcing with House Points tokens.
Currently all classes and students are working on:
‘We participate to progress – Attempt all learning tasks’
Another part of the process in acknowledging our efforts is working towards a whole school celebration as voted by our students.
Every student has voted on a short list of activities that included:
And the winning celebration activity is a… PYJAMA DRESS UP DAY!
This celebration will take place on Friday 12th April last day of this Term.
We will keep you informed and remind you via our socials closer to the date!
Well done to our staff and students for reinforcing these whole school expectations to help our learners thrive and flourish and we look forward to our next goal for Term 2!
