ALL WELCOME – WORSHIP AT ST PAUL

Everyone is welcome to join us on Sunday morning for worship. Worship times are 8:30am for a Traditional Service and 10:00am for a more Contemporary service with Godly Play on offer for primary school aged children. Tea and Coffee and a time of gathering is held most weeks after both worship services. On the first Sunday of the month, we join together in one service, with a blended style of worship.

PLAYGROUP @ ST PAUL

Playgroup @ St Paul is on each Tuesday during term time in the Hall for children aged 0-5 and a parent/caregiver.  Playgroup runs from 9:00-10:30am, but we welcome people anytime from 8:30am onwards to help set up. Join us for a coffee, playtime, story time and songs from 9:00-10:30am each week during school terms. Cost is $2 per family.

This week, we ‘visited the farm’ where we cut our farm animals and a lift-the-flap barn at the craft table, played with oats in the sensory play space and sang some of our favourite animal songs.

Playgroup is on a break now for the school holidays and will return Tuesday 30 April, where we will be looking at hippos.

For more information about anything playgroup related contact Kylie Koelman in the Church Office on 8262 4690 or email at office@stpaul-church.org.au

GROWING FAITH AT HOME

This resource is developed by the Lutheran Church of Australia and is intended to be a guide in sharing faith activities with members of your family.

Here are a few ways you could introduce faith discussions in your home and day-to-day life.

This week the Bible reading focuses again on Jesus appearing to his disciples after his resurrection from the dead.  He asked his disciples to tell everyone that his death and resurrection results in the forgiveness of sins to anyone who repent, so that one day they may live with him forever in Heaven.

The Messiah (Jesus) will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. (Luke 24:46-48)

Mealtime Prayer:

God bless our food, God guide our ways, God give us strength to declare your praise. Amen.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, open our minds to understand the Scriptures and our mouths to speak of you. Amen.

Blessing:

(Child’s name) May the light of God’s face shine on you and be gracious

to you and fill your heart with joy.  Amen.
