Our Next P & C Meeting is a Special Meeting to decide if the P&C will move into Caretaker mode or dissolve altogether.
In caretaker mode, the P&C bank accounts sits and freezes. The money cannot be transferred to the school, but rather it just holds and freezes. If there are parents interested in the executive roles, then the P&C can restart and they can have access to the money again.
If we formally dissolve, we will need to hold an AGM to re-elect the executive team, to simply minute that the P&C is dissolving. This particular meeting will resolve in all money being transferred to the school for the Student Council to use as similar for the P&C. The concern with this pathway, is that it becomes difficult to restart the P&C. There will be no money for the P&C to recommence and fundraising etc will become critical.
