Inquiry

The inquiry topic this term we will be investigating animals and understanding their different features and basic needs. Our essential question is, 'What might animals need to survive?’ We have some exciting challenges and learning opportunities planned that will allow children to research different animals and their habitats, explain their physical characteristics and what they might need to survive. Their understanding of animals will be enhanced through an excursion to The Royal Melbourne Zoo where they will see animals and look at what they need in their enclosures to assist with their survival. Show and Share will be based on our inquiry topic and information on what is required by your child to present will be posted on Compass soon.
