Division Athletics

On Monday 11th September 23 students from Athol Road competed in the Greater Dandenong Division Athletics carnival at Casey Fields in Cranbourne. All of the students competed to the best of their ability and should be proud of their efforts. 

Below is a list of all students and their results:

• Roger C - 1st in discus and 2nd in shot put
• Sarah D – 5th in the100 metres and 5th in triple jump 
• Ashton H – 2nd in the100 metres and 2nd in the 200 metres
• Kingsley H – 5th in the 100 metres and 5th in the 800 metres 
• Olivia H – 4th in the 800 metres and 2nd in high jump 
• Sienna H – 1st hurdles and 2nd in the100 metres 
• Erica H – 2nd in high jump
• Branda I – 5th in triple jump
• Tasha I – 5th in discus and 4th in shot put 
• Emmanuel J – 5th in hurdles, 
• Rebecca K – 4th in long jump
• Nicole L – 6th in the 200 metres 
• Jennica N – 4th in the 800 metres and 4th in the 200 metres 
• Uyen N – 3rd in the 800 metres 
• Danysavid O – 6th in long jump 
• Tri T – 6th in the 100 metres 
• Jordan T – 1st in discus

Congratulations to the 6 students who finished first or second in their event: Roger, Ashton, Olivia, Sienna, Erica, Jordan T. They have qualified for the Southern Metropolitan Regional event which will be held this term.
