BLITZ AND MATRIX FOCUS

Children are working hard to follow our Blitz for this fortnight -

I am happy to report that there has been less equipment in the yard since introducing this Blitz.

We have another week of embedding this into our everyday behaviours - keep up the great work everyone!

During week 1 and 2 students have been practising how to be particularly SAFE, RESPECTFUL and RESPONSIBLE in the yard.

Game rules is always the hardest for children to follow.  We know that there are many versions of games that can be played.  At St Joseph's we provide them with a version of rules that needs to be followed while playing at school.  These rules are printed and put on the A Frames in the yard for all to see.

During week 3 and 4 students have been practising how to be particularly SAFE, RESPECTFUL and RESPONSIBLE inside.

As the term becomes busier we know that the classroom space is a bustle of activity and everyone needs to show care and courtesy for each other.

Staff will work with students to ensure they have understanding of how they can do their best while inside learning.

** New addition; it is always SAFE, RESPECTFUL and RESPONSIBLE to seek an adult when you need one in any space or time.
