OSHC Subcommittee
Bernadetta Martella

Hello! We're the OSHC sub-committee, a group of parent volunteers supporting our OSHC program.
We're so lucky at BNWPS to have an OSHC service that's truly part of our school. Our educators are creative, empathetic and incredibly capable, and the program they deliver is wonderful. My kids have loved going to OSHC, to do cooking, knitting, gardening, crafts, board games, art, science experiments, circus, and more! As my son used to say: it's the best part of school, because you just play.
Being on the committee means you get to see firsthand all the thought and care that goes into designing the OSHC program. It's a great way to meet other parents and feel connected to school life. You don't need loads of time or any special expertise, we just need your enthusiasm. We meet twice a term for an hour and work to a focused agenda.
A few of us have kids graduating soon, so we're looking for some fresh faces on the committee. If you're keen to get more involved in our school community, please get in touch. Bonus: all meetings are after hours! And no, your child doesn't have to attend OSHC for you to join.
