Table Tennis News

We have now come to the conclusion of what was a very well supported Tables Tennis Knockout Tournament held during Term 3 and the start of Term 4. The tournament was offered to students in Years 5 and 6 with close to 40 students battling it out week after week, demonstrating great skill, determination and sporting spirit throughout the competition.

I would like to personally commend all of the competitors who participated and say that the standard of play witnessed each week and then into the finals was something to behold. Some of the players had only recently taken up table tennis but with consistent practice and determination were able to improve their game immensely as the competition progressed.

I would also like to thank our selfless Table Tennis Committee who gave up their time most lunches to attend meetings,umpire games, keep the equipment tub stocked and the tables in good order.
