Junior Class - Music

A Magical Music Excursion

As part of the OzAsia Festival, the Junior students had the incredible opportunity to attend Hutan—a multisensory, inclusive puppet show created by The Artground (Singapore) and Sensorium Theatre at the Botanic Gardens.

Students wiggled their fingers and toes through textured leaves, smelled fragrant flowers, and played hide-and-seek with Hornbill. They spotted Owl under the moonlight, helped Kingfisher care for her eggs, and even joined cheeky Gibbons for a tropical fruit picnic during a passing rain shower!

This experience was a celebration of curiosity, wonder, and joy. Watching the students immerse themselves with all their senses was truly magical.

Yellow Class

This term, the Yellow Class has been exploring the concept of time through a range of activities. Students followed different daily schedules and participated in day-and-night themed learning experiences. They explored sensory bags, bottles, and trays with pictures showing activities that happen at various times of the day. The class also sorted images into day and night activities, listened to stories, and enjoyed singing and dancing to songs about day and night. Great work, Yellow Class!
