Dear Families

Last Friday we gathered for the graduation of Angus and Sophie alongside their family and friends. It was a beautiful occasion filled with pride, memories, laughter and many heartfelt moments. I extend my deep gratitude to Angus and Sophie’s families for allowing us to be part of their schooling journey and we wish them well in their future endeavours. A special thank you goes to Maddi, whose dedication and hard work in organising the event ensured it was such a memorable evening for everyone involved.

Last week we farewelled Theo and his family who are relocating to Melbourne. It has been a privilege to work in partnership with his parents Monique and Mathias and we wish them well in their new ventures. 

Transition visits have now begun, and we are excited to welcome our new students and their families into our community. These visits are an important step in helping students feel comfortable and supported as they prepare to join St Patrick’s Special School. 

Reports are currently being completed and will be coming home soon. In the context of our school, reports are more than just a summary of academic progress, they reflect each student’s individual achievements, growth, and personal milestones. They highlight the unique strengths of every learner and celebrate the progress made in all areas of the student’s school day. 

Next Tuesday 2 December we will be celebrating our Christmas Mass at the Monastery. This is always a highlight of the school year, and we warmly invite all families and friends to join us for this beautiful celebration. It is a wonderful time to come together in faith and community, to reflect on the year, and to share in the joy and hope of the Christmas season.

I am looking forward to these last few weeks of the year together, they’re sure to be busy, fun, and festive!
