In Term 3 Mrs. Geilings and Frau Rosas-Ortizworked together on an Art and Poetry Competition.  The Kunst und Poesie theme for this year was 'Tiere' (animals).

Foundation to Level 2 students produced an artwork inspired by a German-speaking artist and they wrote an artist's statement in German of their particular artwork.

114 entries were submitted from 14 different schools and we were very lucky to be able to submit some fantastic artworks from our Rangeview students.

Foundation students:

  • Thomas L. and Louis S.

Level 1 students:

  • Jade O. and Mataes G.

Level 2 students:

  • Ian Z. and Millicent C.

It is with great pride that we would like to share with the Rangeview community that four of our students were acknowledged with certificates and prizes.

  • Thomas L. received an Honourable Mention.

  • Jade O. won the second prize for Level 1.

  • Ian Z. won the first prize for Level 2.

  • Millicent C. won the third prize in Level 2.

All students will receive a participation certificate and their prizes at our upcoming Junior School Assembly on Monday the 17th November (2:45pm – 3:30pm).

Below are the artworks and their statements produced by our Level F – 2 students.
