From Kimalee and Caen, Science Specialists

Chemistry from Prep to 6  

Already we have begun discussing safety, sharing predictions, mixing, making, recording observations and making connections to the real world. Over the last fortnight, students from Prep to 6 have made play dough, using a variety of methods, and seen yeast blow up balloons with carbon dioxide.  

At the different year levels its exciting to see the breadth of Science knowledge our students are able to apply to these experiments. It is also wonderful to hear about students who have been replicating these experiments at home. 

Well done young Chemical Scientists!

We would also like to thank Ritu for her wonderful input to our fabulous Science Program. We wish her the best of luck as she dips back into engineering.   

We welcome Caen, who is teaching the 3 - 6 Science Program for the remainder of 2023. We are so fortunate to find such an engaging, enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher.
