Alstom Visit
A group of Trinity College Aboriginal students were the first in the state to be given a tour of the Alstom, Metronet warehouse where the new C-Class trains are being built. This provided them with the opportunity to learn about the process of how a rail car is put together and the multiple employment opportunities within this industry. Thanks to Ash Garlett the Aboriginal Engagement Lead for this opportunity.
Try a Trade
During the course of this week 15 Year 10 students attended the John Forrest College Try-A-Trade Centre to undertake a Plumbing and Painting program with MPA Skills funded by the CTF.
