INTERSCHOOL SPORT

Over the past 3 weeks students in Stage 3 have travelled to Queens Park to participate in the Sydney Catholic Schools Conference 1 interschool sport sessions. The students have been playing Oztag. Each student has demonstrated teamwork, sportsmanship and energy on the field. We are super proud of their efforts and the manner in which they represented St Aidan’s.

Stage 2 also had the opportunity to participate in an Inter School Gala Day. They enjoyed a day on the soccer fields. Once again they represented St Aidan’s in an outstanding manner. The Interschool Sport programs provide students with the opportunity to play with other students from different schools as well as continue to develop their sporting skills or be introduced to new schools.

RANDWICK CITY COUNCIL 2023 SPORTS AWARDS

We are beyond proud of our very own Sporting Super Star Max I (6). Last week Max was invited to attend the Randwick City Council 2023 Sports Awards. This event highlights the outstanding achievements of athletes in our council. We congratulate Max on receiving a certificate of commendable achievement. Mrs Green and myself had the honour of accompanying Max to this event and it is extremely evident that Max demonstrates outstanding commitment to every sport in which he participates in. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for him.

Stay happy, healthy and active!
