CHRISTMAS CARD EXCHANGE

For the third year, our students studying Japanese in Years 7 and 8 are exchanging Christmas cards with students in Japan. Our students make and send their cards and will receive one in return. This year the exchange is happening with students from an elementary school, a junior high school and an after school care program in Yamagata, Swan Hill’s sister city in Japan. The Japanese students will be aged between 8 and 13. 

This has been a great opportunity for students to practise their writing skills and they are eagerly awaiting the cards from Japan to arrive.
