Career events for years 9 - 10
If you are currently in Year 9 or 10, A Day in the Life of a Murdoch University Student is the perfect opportunity for you to explore your interests and where these might lead you. You will create a customised university timetable of hands-on activities in subjects that interest you, speak with current Murdoch University students studying in those areas and learn more of their pathway to university, and be inspired by our academics.
There are specialty workshops that participants choose so that they find out more about the courses they like.
A one-day forum in Term 4 for Year 9 and 10 girls and their teachers to explore the world of engineering.
The GET Forum connects students interested in STEM and introduces them to engineering through hands-on workshops with university and industry mentors. Students will also hear from our panel of inspirational engineers during a Q & A session, providing an opportunity to hear about the panels’ experiences and discussions about pathways in engineering.
Students will also receive information about our Year 11 program, the GET Network, and other ways to stay engaged with STEM.
