Reminders:
Toys
Please ensure your child is not bringing toys to school as they are a disruption to learning and can be broken/misplaced. Toys are not allowed to be taken outside with them at playtime so it is best they are left at home
Hats
In Term 4 all students are required to wear a hat when outside. If your child does not have a hat, they will be asked to play in the shade. It is much easier to return lost hats when they have a name on them. Please double check your child's name is clear and easy to read.

Reminders:
Library
Please encourage your child to bring their library bag every Tuesday so that they can borrow books when we visit the Library every Tuesday. Without a bag, students cannot borrow books to take home. Please make sure they bring their book bags every Tuesday, so they do not miss out.
Toys
We have noticed some students bring toys into the classroom. Toys can be a cause of distraction especially if the toys become lost or broken. Please discourage your child from bringing toys to school.
Reminders:
Homework
Thank you for your continued support in instilling a strong homework routine for your child. The expectation is 1 lesson of Mathseeds completed a week (Sunday - Saturday). Please remember that Sunday starts the new week.
The other homework expectation is reading 4 nights for 15 minutes. This is to be written in your child's diary and signed. Diaries should come to school every day.
Hats
It is important that your child brings their school hat every day in Term 4. Their hats will be used for playing outside and any school activities that require students to be outside. If your child does not have a hat, they will be asked to play in the shade at break times. Please ensure that your child's name is on their hat. This will make it easier to be returned if it is lost.

AR Targets
Students should be at 50% of their AR Points Target at this point in the term. Students should be reading four nights at home as part of their homework each week. One way that you can support your child to reach their goal is by ensuring their homework diary has been filled in. Your child's classroom teacher can then support them to take the AR quiz for completed books in school.

Reminders:
AR Targets
At this point in the term, students should have achieved about 50% of their Accelerated Reader points target. Please check in with your child regarding their progress. Thank you for your support to ensure your child is reading for half an hour each night!

Just a friendly reminder that homeworkdiaries should be brought to school every Friday morning. Please ensure they are checked and signed by a parent or guardian before sending them in. Thank you for your support in helping us track and encourage your child’s reading progress.

Graduation
We are very excited to soon celebrate the end of Primary School at our Graduation on Thursday 12 December. There is a $25 for each student to help cover the cost of food and decorations. About 50% of families are already paid this fee. Please use Compass to pay the $25 in order for your child to attend graduation.
