Lunch Clubs!
The creations by the Lego Masters continue to surprise everyone. This week Miss N worked with the creators to make VIP Vehicles. A couple of children even made replicas of a concorde. Last week, the students enjoyed the chance to really get creative with a ''freebuild'' session. It must be the end of term as we had a few additional visitors to the attend the mindfulness session this fortnight. Thankfully, the rain held off this week which meant that Mrs Martin could get the party started. A little dance party is just what the doctor ordered to end a very busy week!
"R U OK? Day"
On Thursday of this week we took some time to check-in on our friends and classmates. R U OK? Day is celebrated each year and we wore a 'touch' of yellow to remind ourselves to ask those near us if they are ok. At times, we may not notice any visible signs that people may be having a tough time, so why not ask? Thanks to all who took the time out to check-in on someone else!
Happy Families
With Father's Day not long behind us, the first of our 2 articles this week . If you would like to share any feedback about these articles, talks about healthy relationships with positive male figures in our children's lives. "Present Dads, Healthy Kids" explores the wonderful impact of the contributions that dads can make. The second article shared with you this forntight is "The Case for Risky Play in an Age of Overprotection". This is an interesting piece which challenges us to think about how and what our children play. If you have any feedback about the articles we share each fortnight, please email admin@safranksth.catholic.edu.au
Term 4 is your term! We would love to have you join usut at St A's - would you like to help out?
Term 4 is historically busy. We always appreciate an extra pair of hands to help across the school for a variety of reasons. Next term we still have Cooking & Gardening sessions, a number of sporting events and excursions planned. Additionally, we will need all hands on deck to assist with the lead-up to our School Fair. If you are keen to join in, please make sure you have a current Working With Children Check.
