Principals Report
Welcome back to Term 4. It is a pleasure to see everyone returning to school, ready for a productive term ahead. This is a particularly significant time for our Year 6 students as they embark on their final term of primary school. It is a busy period with numerous activities planned, so please remember to check PAM and our calendar regularly for updates on upcoming events.
To support your child's learning effectively, I kindly ask parents to make every effort to schedule appointments outside of school hours and ensure that their child arrives at school before the bell each day. Consistent punctuality is the best way to help your child succeed academically. If you have any concerns regarding your child's school attendance, please do not hesitate to reach out to either myself or your child's teacher, so that we can offer the necessary support.
This week, we have been participating in a School Improvement Review, a process that occurs every five years to evaluate our current practices and to provide guidance and recommendations for our strategic direction moving forward. Thus far, the review has been very affirming. The process will conclude tomorrow, after which we will receive informal feedback prior to receiving our formal written report. I look forward to sharing this report with you all.
Ben Griffin and I will be away on LSL for the next two weeks. In my absence Ms. Kirsten Leary will be acting principal.
Have a wonderful week everyone
